Notes

'Frontier' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Frontier') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its massive double pink blooms open late in spring to early summer, later than most pink peonies. The flowers last well, and the plants are strong. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Sedge, and Scentara Double Blue lilac.
