Notes
'Frosty Jack' peony (Paeonia 'Frosty Jack') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The flowers have white edging with a purple center and open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies visit the blooms, and Derek Irvine bred it.
Pairs well with Green Spice coral bells, Foxglove, Cornflower, and The President clematis.
