Notes

'Fuchsia Dragonfly' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fuchsia Dragonfly') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, cup-shaped flowers have fuchsia petals around a straw-colored center. Strong stems hold the blooms upright in late spring and early summer. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 1998.

Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Smooth aster, and Royal fern.
