Notes

'Fuji' apple (Malus domestica 'Fuji') is a tree for food gardens and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fuji is grown for fresh eating, and the crisp, juicy fruit has a sweet flavor. The apples ripen late in the season and keep for 3 months or more. Tohoku Research Station bred it in 1962, and you need a second apple tree nearby for fruit.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Pink Lemonade blueberry, and Chardonnay grape.
