Notes
'Fuji-some-goromo' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fuji-some-goromo') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It forms a medium, spreading clump. The large Japanese type flowers open light pink or blush in mid to late spring. Yellow spots mark the edges of the staminodes.
Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Queen of Night tulip, and Tall fescue.
