Notes

'Furore' tulip (Tulipa 'Furore') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms in red from early to late spring and grows about 18 inches tall. The outside of each flower glows turkey red with mandarin red edges. Inside, the bloom is bright tomato red with a star-shaped lemon yellow base and plum purple anthers.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Fanal astilbe, and Cytherea peony.
