Notes

'Gae Orosz' peony (Paeonia 'Gae Orosz') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Gilbert S. Richmond bred this tall peony, which has double flowers in deep cream and pink. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Eastern columbine, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
