Notes

'Galahad' delphinium (Delphinium elatum 'Galahad') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Tall, erect stems carry flowers in blue, pink, purple, and white. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Inca Gold yarrow, Lamb’s ear, Alina rose, and Album nettle-leaved mullein.
