Notes

Garden verbena (Verbena × hybrida) is an annual for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and ground cover. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Supertunia Vista Bubblegum petunia, Aster, and Creeping jenny.
