Notes

'Gardener's World' catchfly (Silene coronaria 'Gardener's World') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and dry sites. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. The silvery, woolly foliage forms vigorous clumps, and sturdy stems hold up magenta double blooms in early to late summer. The flowers reach 1.5 inches across and look like small roses. They are sterile, so they will not reseed.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Blanket flower, and Blue grama.
