Notes
'Alba' catchfly (Silene coronaria 'Alba') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Moonshine yarrow, and Blue fescue.
