Notes
'Gardenia' rose (Rosa 'Gardenia') is a shrub for cottage gardens, cut flowers, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). Give it full sun to part shade and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant white flowers open in spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and dark green leaves set them off. Michael Horvath bred it.
Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, Incrediball hydrangea, Autumn Frost hosta, and Snake's head.
