Notes

'Gary Centennial' peony (Paeonia 'Gary Centennial') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink double blooms have some fragrance, and the spreading habit grows about 30 inches tall, so give it support. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Zlata Jennie Draskovich bred it.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Switchgrass.
