Notes

'Gasana' everbearing strawberry (Fragaria ananassa 'Gasana') is a fruit for containers and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer tend to pass it by. Red flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn. It grows about 12 inches tall and spreads 24 to 36 inches, so give it room.

Pairs well with Pink Lady apple, Kent Beauty oregano, Pennyroyal, and Lavandin.
