Notes
'Gatsby Pink' oakleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea quercifolia 'Gatsby Pink') is a shrub for specimen planting, shade gardens, woodland edges, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its pink flower clusters attract butterflies, bees, and birds. The leaves turn red, bronze, and purple in fall. Give this slow grower plenty of room to mound.
Pairs well with Amsonia, Autumn fern, Witch hazel, and Switchgrass.
