Notes

'Pee Wee' oakleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea quercifolia 'Pee Wee') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, foundation beds, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is a miniature oakleaf with a compact, rounded form. The white flowers age to pink, and the leaves turn red, bronze, and purple in fall.

Pairs well with Amsonia, Autumn fern, Inkberry, and Little bluestem.
