Notes

'Gena Marie' peony (Paeonia 'Gena Marie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, light pink double flowers reach 7 inches wide and sit on sturdy, upright stems that stand up to stormy weather. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Don Hollingsworth bred it.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and PowWow White coneflower.
