Notes

'General Hancock' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'General Hancock') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are light pink or lilac-pink, so they blend well with many other garden colors. H.A. Terry bred it in 1909, and you can cut the blooms for bouquets.

Pairs well with Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Western sword fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
