Notes

'General Sikorski' clematis (Clematis 'General Sikorski') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It bears dark lavender blooms and attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Vladyslaw Noll bred it in 1975. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Paris coral bells.
