Notes

'George Best' rose (Rosa 'George Best') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It stays upright and compact, with small, glossy leaves. Dark red, fragrant blooms open from late spring into early autumn and attract bees. Colin Dickson bred it in 2007.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Fountain grass, and Ox-eye daisy.
