Notes

'George Dickson' rose (Rosa 'George Dickson') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It has a bushy habit and fragrant, medium red blooms. Flowers open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Alexander Dickson II bred it in 1912.

Pairs well with Lanceleaf coreopsis, Arrowwood viburnum, and Cornflower.
