Notes

'George' reticulated iris (Iris reticulata 'George') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The flowers are fragrant and attract bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Once settled in, the plant is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Whitewell Purple autumn crocus, Winter aconite, Common snowdrop, and Evergold sedge.
