Notes

'Georgina Jane' peony (Paeonia 'Georgina Jane') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Double, deep yellow blooms shade to red from early to late spring and draw butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. John & Dot McFarlane introduced it in 1997.

Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Jacob’s ladder, and Niobe clematis.
