Notes

'Ghostlight' peony (Paeonia 'Ghostlight') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Semi-double cream-orange flowers with dark maroon flares open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and the mounded plant is easy to grow.

Pairs well with Jacob’s ladder, Garden phlox, and Niobe clematis.
