Notes
Giant silver mullein (Verbascum bombyciferum) is an annual for a border and low maintenance gardens. This plant likes full sun and dry, loamy or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. This tall plant tolerates drought, so you can skip frequent watering. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Violetta purple mullein, Moerheim Beauty sneezeweed, and Rosemary.
