Notes

'Gifted Sun' peony (Paeonia 'Gifted Sun') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Its fragrant, single, light yellow flowers open early in the season. The flower buds hold up well in late freezes, and the upright stems need no support.

Pairs well with June hosta, Black Parrot tulip, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
