Notes

'Gloria' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Gloria') is an annual for borders, cut flower gardens, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It is also drought tolerant, so it handles dry spells.

Pairs well with Ageratum, Hidcote lavender, Franz Schubert garden phlox, and Red fescue.
