Notes
'Gloria Patria' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Gloria Patria') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are pink, so they add soft color to a sunny bed. Pair it with spring bulbs and tall grasses to keep the garden interesting through the seasons.
Pairs well with Hosta, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
