Notes

'Gloriana' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Gloriana') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full rose flowers open deep pink with violet shading and age to a lighter pink. Kelway bred it as a seedling of 'Mrs'. John Smythe Fogg.

Pairs well with Rose, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
