Notes

'Glorious Denise' peony (Paeonia 'Glorious Denise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, blush-pink, semi-double flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Swenson Gardens bred it, and the upright plants need no support.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Culver’s root, Switchgrass, and Stargazer lily.
