Notes
'Glorious Lavender' peony (Paeonia 'Glorious Lavender') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early blooming semi-double to double lavender flowers are fragrant and face upward. Butterflies and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Swenson Gardens bred it, and the upright stems need no support.
Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Carlton daffodil.
