Notes
'Glowing Embers' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Glowing Embers') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in early to mid spring with Japanese type flowers. The rose-pink guards are crimped and cupped, with lighter edges. The center has a tiny sparkle of white on the tips.
Pairs well with Pink Impression tulip, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
