Notes
'Gnome' pyracantha (Pyracantha angustifolia 'Gnome') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows 4 to 6 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide, so give it room. The white flowers are fragrant, and birds visit the plant. It stays evergreen and tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Shasta daisy, and Hummingbird's mint.
