Notes

'Gold Bar' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Gold Bar') is a grass for borders, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Burgundy flower plumes rise just above the bold gold and green leaves in fall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The straw-colored form usually lasts until spring, so it adds winter interest.

Pairs well with Joe Pye weed, Gaura, and Ornamental onion.
