Notes

'Gold Medal' rose (Rosa 'Gold Medal') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. The medium yellow blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Jack E. Christensen bred it in 1981.

Pairs well with Boxwood, Jackmanii clematis, and Casa Blanca lily.
