Notes

'Kelsey's Gold' red twig dogwood (Cornus sericea 'Kelsey's Gold') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and has an erect shape. Bees, butterflies, and birds visit it in spring and summer. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Sweet pepperbush, Purple Coneflower coneflower, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
