Notes

'Arctic Fire' red twig dogwood (Cornus sericea 'Arctic Fire') is a shrub for borders, winter interest, rain gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil of most types. It grows fast and reaches about 35 to 59 inches tall and wide, and bees, butterflies, and birds visit it. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Sibirica red-barked dogwood, Diane Japanese witch hazel, and Lenten rose.
