Notes

'Hedgerows Gold' red twig dogwood (Cornus sericea 'Hedgerows Gold') is a shrub for borders, hedges, winter interest, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil of most types. It grows fast and reaches up to 8 feet tall and wide, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Hummingbird sweet pepperbush, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Goldsturm black-eyed Susan.
