Notes

'Golden Chimes' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Golden Chimes') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. The fragrant blooms open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Munstead lavender, and Moonlight tickseed.
