Notes

'Golden Frolic' peony (Paeonia 'Golden Frolic') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant light pink blooms with red flares and a golden-yellow center attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Fire and Ice hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
