Notes

'Golden Handshake' rose (Rosa 'Golden Handshake') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The deep yellow blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Christopher H. Warner bred it in 1996.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Fountain grass, Pink, and Red-hot poker.
