Notes
'Golden Nugget' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Golden Nugget') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers are light pink with lilac shading, and they rise over dark foliage on medium, upright plants. Sarah A. Pleas bred it in 1913.
Pairs well with Stargazer lily, Switchgrass, and Dalmatian bellflower.
