Notes

'Golden Queen' rose (Rosa 'Golden Queen') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium yellow, fragrant blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. César Chambard bred it in 1939.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Indian grass, and Red Charm peony.
