Notes

'Golden Slippers' rose (Rosa 'Golden Slippers') is a compact shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant yellow blend blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Gordon J. Von Abrams bred it in 1961.

Pairs well with Bartzella peony, Jackmanii clematis, and Little bluestem.
