Notes

'Goldie' husk cherry (Physalis pruinosa 'Goldie') is an annual for containers, food gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It bears small orange berries wrapped in papery husks. Orange and golden blooms open in summer and attract bees.

Pairs well with Russian Mammoth sunflower, Ballerina zinnia, and Foxtail barley.
