Notes

'Good Neighbor' peony (Paeonia 'Good Neighbor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant red flowers have tan centers and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Eastern columbine, Nodding onion, and Christmas fern.
