Notes

'Goodspeed' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Goodspeed') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, full double flowers are deep pink with violet shading and silvery edges. They open in early summer above dark foliage. George Hollis bred it in 1907.

Pairs well with Sedge, Knapweed, Little Beauty tulip, and Incrediball hydrangea.
