Notes

'Grace Loomis' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Grace Loomis') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, double white flowers open in late spring with faint lemon tints deep in the petals and a mild fragrance. The strong stems hold the blooms well, and Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Showy milkweed, Prairie dropseed, and Picture tulip.
