Notes
'Granat' astilbe (Astilbe rosea 'Granat') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It forms a clumping mound of green and copper foliage that stays 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.
