Notes

'Grand-Duc Jean' rose (Rosa 'Grand-Duc Jean') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows in a compact form and bears fragrant, medium red blooms from late spring into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Ann Velle Boudolf bred it, and Lens Roses introduced it in 2010.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Hollyhock, and Virginia sweetspire.
